This document contains the essential legal texts for the project SLD Air Cue. It covers the liability disclaimer, the general terms and conditions for the software license and server subscription, and the software license agreement.
"SLD Air Cue" is provided as software only (firmware and server access). The hardware on which the software runs is purchased and supplied separately by the customer from a third-party retailer. The seller assumes no liability for the hardware itself, nor for damages resulting from improper installation, integration into the local network, or incorrect operation.
Because this software is used in critical control environments (lighting consoles), the following applies: Under no circumstances shall the seller be liable for indirect damages, consequential damages, or loss of profit. Use is entirely at the operator's own risk.
The seller supplies software only and does not sell, ship, or distribute any hardware. The customer purchases compatible hardware independently from a third-party retailer. The customer is solely responsible for ensuring that the hardware used complies with the applicable safety and conformity regulations (e.g. CE marking) at the place of use.
All prices for the software license and server subscription are listed in CHF (Swiss Francs). According to Swiss small business regulations, the seller is exempt from VAT. Therefore, all prices shown are final prices excluding VAT ("VAT exempt due to small business regulations").
With the purchase, the customer acquires a simple, non-exclusive license to use the corresponding software (firmware). Reverse engineering or unauthorized distribution is strictly prohibited.
Server usage is provided on a prepaid basis for periods of 6 months. There are no automatic renewals.
Delivery is purely digital. The software (firmware) is provided via the web flasher on sld-tools.com, and server access is activated electronically. No physical goods are shipped.
